Very poor condition. No closure tab and the brass finial is missing. Some stitching along seem is missing as well. There is a name inside the flap, but I think it's a modern addition also carved initials on outer flap that I think is possibly period. Leather is soft, however. I sold this previously, but owner needed money. All in all, still not a bad relic for $50.00
