Item #: FD0004

This is a dropped 58 caliber Confederate Gardner bullet. Not to be confused with the much more rare Gardiner explosive bullet. Anyway nice condition bullet that was sent to a Mr. and Mrs. J Hardin Peterson, Sr. Peterson Rd, Lakeland, Fl. It has the cancelled blue 10 cent Monticello stamp which I think indicates early 1970's mailing. Unknown sender. The back of the envelope in ball point pen is the word Petersburg. This is all I know about this interesting piece. Obviously you will get the bullet, the envelope and the attached stamp. The envelope does have a tear on the bottom that someone has taped. Extra precaution will be made in shipment to ensure the safety of the paper as well as the bullet.
Price: $12.00 USD (Sale Pending)
